As of July 2018, Pitt has a total of 8,536 ETDs submitted by ETD authors from 12 of its graduate and professional schools and the University Honors College. Individuals from over ninety different countries outside of the United States have accessed Pitt ETDs. 90% of Pitt ETDs are Open Access, meaning they are freely available to the world.
